The new animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse trailer was released today and set the internet on fire with many talking about how awesome it looks.
The upcoming film is the first to feature Miles Morales as Spider-Man on the big screen, and fans could not be more excited about the fresh new take on the iconic character. Of course, fans took to the internet to express their mostly positive thoughts, here are some of the best takes below:

In the comics, Miles Morales is an African-American teenager who goes by the identity of Spider-Man who was created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sara Pichelli.
Directed by Bob Persichetti and Peter Ramsey, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse will feature the voice talents of The Get Down star Shameik Moore as Spidey himself, Miles Morales, X-Men Origins: Wolverine star Liev Schrieber as a yet-to-be-revealed villain, Atlanta star Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Davis, and Moonlight star Mahershala Ali as Aaron Davis, a.ka. the Prowler.
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 14, 2018.

Some people may complain about superhero fatigue, but for fans of the genre, 2018 looks like it will be an amazing year. Not only will hit shows like Marvel’s Daredevil and Arrow continue, but there are a lot of new projects coming for superhero fans.
