Warning: The following post contains spoilers for Infinity War and may contain spoilers for Avengers 4!
With rumors swirling and making their rounds on the internet in regards to where the story of the untitled Avengers 4 will take off to next after the catastrophic events that transpired in Avengers: Infinity War, one talented fan has shared a piece of art that depicts a possible scenario for Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in next year’s follow-up.
In the midst of fans speculating that time travel may indeed play a pivotal role in the upcoming Avengers sequel, other fans have theorized that Iron Man will fight fire with fire and somehow assemble an Infinity Gauntlet of his own in order to combat and reverse the countless deaths that occurred at the hands of Thanos (Josh Brolin) in the final moments of Avengers: Infinity War. To add to the speculation, one Reddit user has shared a fantastic piece of fanart that shows Tony Stark with his very own Infinity Gauntlet, you can check out the fanart in the post below.
Considering that Iron Man previously wielded the powerful weapon against the villainous Hood during Brian Michael Bendis and John Romita’s run in the Avengers comics back in 2010, there is always the possibility that Joe and Anthony Russo could bring this memorable moment from the comics to the big screen in Avengers 4.

10 Marvel & DC Villains Who Can Take Down Thanos
Thanos may have just taken down some of Marvel’s finest superheroes in Avengers: Infinity War, but he’s not the deadliest villain in comics. Both DC and Marvel are full of characters who are more powerful than the Mad Titan.
Admittedly, whenever Thanos is in possession of all six infinity stones he is the most powerful being in the universe, but anyone can harness that power if they successfully gather all the necessary components. If anything, Thanos is just incredibly patient and willing to wait to achieve his goals, a trait not many supervillains in DC or Marvel have. With the gauntlet, Thanos is essentially an immortal God who can snap his fingers and turn entire worlds to dust, but without it he’s just another villain who wants to rule the universe. He’s clearly a strong and terrifying guy, but if he were to face any of these villains without his Gauntlet, Thanos would be in big trouble.
