‘IT: Chapter Two’ Casts Andy Bean As Adult Stanley

IT Andy BeanThe sequel to 2017’s IT is continuing to fill out its cast with the latest addition being Andy Bean, best known for his roles in Here and Now and Allegiant.

Bean is set to play the older version of Stanely Uris played by Wyatt Oleff in the first film. The actor joins the cast which includes James McAvoy as Bill, Bill Hader as Richi,  Jessica Chastain as Beverly, and James Ransone who was cast as Eddie Kaspbrak earlier today.

The sequel picks up 27 years later in modern day when the Losers club returns to the small town of Derry, Maine to defeat the evil clown Pennywise for good, but it will also feature flashbacks to before the Losers parted ways in 1989.

Andy Muschietti returns to direct the sequel from a script written by Gary Dauberman, the screenwriter behind the first film. Production on the project is expected to begin this July in Toronto.

Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have slated IT: Chapter Two to hit theaters on September 6, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the sequel to IT as we learn it.

With Shazam! hitting theaters next year, the character’s popularity will start to grow and it’s likely he’ll receive a new comic book series soon, so you might as well start learning everything you can about the character now.
