Marvel and Netflix struck gold when they teamed up to bring older superhero fans darker properties Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and the eventual Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher. As of right now, Marvel’s second Netflix series Jessica Jones has become available on iTunes, just in time for the holidays.
Jessica Jones‘ first season consistent of 13 episodes and follows Jones (Krysten Ritter) as deals with her past and faces off with the evil Kilgrave (David Tennant). The show gives fans their first look at Luke Cage (Mike Colter) as he is both introduced and featured throughout the series.
The prices for the episodes break down to either $2.99 per episode, or you can purchase the entire season for $29.99. There is a planned second season for Jessica Jones, premiering in either 2017 or early 2018. Ritter can be seen next in 2017’s team up series, The Defenders.
