James Gunn is known for his expansive social media presence and how often he interacts with fans on Twitter. During a recent fan Q&A, Gunn cleared up a question about which studio owns the rights to Skrulls.
“Some specific Skrulls are at Fox. but the Skrulls as a whole are co-owned,” tweeted Gunn.
For those wondering which characters Gunn was clarifying, the Skrulls are popular characters that were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. They are known for being a fictional race of extraterrestrial shape-shifters and they first appeared within the Fantastic Four universe.
