James Gunn Releases ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ Script Online

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 James GunnJames Gunn gave fans a pleasant surprise today on his Twitter account by releasing the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 script for free online.

The film was released earlier this year and continued Marvel’s commercial winning streak, outgrossing its 2014 predecessor even if it didn’t quite reach the same heights critically.

Along with the script, Gunn provided plenty of additional details about the development of the film, including the fact he wrote nine drafts of the screenplay before settling on the final version. He also stresses Marvel gave him no notes to make the film more amenable to the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Touching on the tease of Adam Warlock at the end of the film, Gunn wouldn’t confirm that we’ll see the character in the third movie, but instead insisted that the time must be right before he is introduced.
