James Mangold Releases 3 New Images From ‘Logan’

Logan is drawing closer and closer to its release date. After what felt like forever, actor Hugh Jackman finally released the film’s official synopsis via Twitter on Friday. The film is set to premiere at the 67th Berlin Film Festival.

Director James Mangold hasn’t been shy when it comes to releasing information about Logan. Photos, a clip of the film’s score. Yesterday, Mangold took to Twitter again. This time, he released solo images of X-23, Logan, and Professor Xavier. Above the photos are specific details: Which camer he used, how many millimeters, etc. Details that photo enthusiasts can truly appreciate.

“In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young Mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.”

The film also stars Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Doris Morgado, Stephen Merchant, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Patrick Stewart as Professor X.

This film will mark Hugh Jackman’s final time playing the character he originated in 2000’s X-Men.

Logan will hit theaters March 3, 2017.
