Scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis is celebrating Halloween the right way as the actress has shared the first set photo from the upcoming sequel to the 1978 horror classic that launched her career.
Production on the sequel is currently underway in South Carolina. Curtis reprises her role as Laurie Strode once more as she comes face to face with the boogeyman himself, Michael Myers, for her final confrontation with the masked murderer she managed to escape the clutches of on Halloween night 39 years ago. The film is will carve a new path from the events of the horror classic.
The photo shared by Curtis reveals the first look at her alongside Michael Myers on set of the production. You can check it out below.

Halloween is a Trancas International Films, Blumhouse Productions, and Miramax production. John Carpenter returns to serve as executive producer and creative consultant on the project alongside Jason Blum, with David Gordon Green and Danny McBride exec producing under their Rough House Pictures banner. Malek Akkad will also produce. Green will direct the film from a script co-written by himself and McBride. Universal Pictures will distribute worldwide.
