Jason Momoa Shares A Series Of Fun BTS Photos From ‘Aquaman’

Justice League Aquaman Jason MomoaWith Aquaman having wrapped filming recently, Jason Momoa took to Instagram again to look back on his 114 days of shooting with some behind-the-scenes photos — and it sure looked like a good set to be on.

As recent trailers for Justice League paint Arthur Curry as the “bro” of the group, surfing atop parademons and whatnot, it turns out Momoa is just as fun behind the camera. See for yourself in his Instagram gallery below and check out his caption, which ends with a nod to Zack Snyder and his choice in casting.

SO many beautiful MEMORIES it’s been awesome going through my phone. I wish I could show more Mahalo to my team you know who u are I will take you with me in my heart always. The series of photos has everything from Irish beer puns and a misspelling of his last name to Momoa in a sling and an appearance from his former Game of Thrones co-star Peter Dinklage.

What do you think of the photos? It might not be on the level of Zack Snyder’s BTS images, but Aquaman definitely looked like the set to be on for a good time. Sound off with your thoughts below!

Directed by James Wan and written by Will Beall, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Patrick Wilson as Orm Marius/Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko.

Aquaman is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on Dec. 21, 2018.

7 Green Lantern Stories We’d Love To See Adapted For The Big Screen

Previous1 of 8

Green Lantern CorpsThere were no major Green Lantern characters in Justice League, but the hero is eventually set to hit the big screen again in 2020 with Green Lantern Corps. The real mystery is what kind of Lantern stories will the movie have and who will wield a ring? The only thing I know is it’s not a good idea to wait for Ryan “Deadpool” Reynolds to mutter the Green Lantern oath on the big screen anytime soon.

There are so many stories and unique Green Lanterns the movie could draw from, so at the end of the day I hope the material is treated with the respect it deserves.  It took some hard work, but I whittled my favorite stories down to this list of seven easily adaptable arc that show off some of the action and emotion Green Lantern has to offer. Don’t expect to recommend any simple origin stories here, though — man-oh-man am I tired of seeing those.
