Jason Momoa was a part of HBO’s Game of Thrones back during season one but it turns out that Momoa is still following along with the show and supporting his co-star, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen). During season one, Momoa and Clarke’s character were married and fell completely in love before his untimely death.
After watching this week’s episode of Game of Thrones, Momoa took to Instagram to express his excitement and support his former co-star.
“Hahahahahahahahahahahhhahaha. I love GOT. Don’t f— with my boo. Hahahahahahahahah @emilia_clarke love u Moon of my life ALOHA DROGO.”
Clarke also spoke out after the episode aired about her powerful comeback scene.
“It’s so exciting, very tingly-making. Every season I get at least one spine-chilling moment. I just stand up and I go, ‘I’m hearing what you’re all saying, but funny thing, I’m going to kill you all. I forgot that I have an ace in my back pocket and now I win.'”
The Game of Thrones star had been on the record saying that she didn’t want to do anymore nude scenes on the show but for this she made an exception, explaining that this moment was very different and empowering.
“But this is all me, all proud, all strong. I’m just feeling genuinely happy I said ‘Yes.’ That ain’t no body double!”
