Commissioner Gordon actor JK Simmons is willing to do whatever it takes to finish Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League.

In the film, JK Simmons played the head of Gotham City’s police department, Commissioner Gordon. In most iterations of the character, Commissioner Gordon is Batman’s longtime ally who regularly helps the Caped Crusader and his ongoing battles against Gotham’s criminals. Justice League marked the first and, so far, only appearances as the Spider-Man actor in the role.

In Justice League, JK Simmons’ Commissioner Gordon didn’t have much to do in the version that was released theatrically. He did, however, note that he was happy to see Batman working with other people again, hinting a long friendship between the two. While we don’t know how much bigger of a role JK Simmions had in the film, the actor is willing to do whatever it takes to finish Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League.

While speaking to Screen Rant, JK Simmons revealed that, as far as he knew, he had already done everything he needed to for Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League. However, if there was anything else that needed to be done, he was happy to do it:

“Well, the Snyder cut is happening now at long last, as DC fans know. I’m excited that I’m a part of it. As far as I know, I’ve already done everything I have to do to be a part of Zack’s cut, which is to tell Zack, ‘Yes, I want to be a part of your cut.’ If there’s additional dialogue recording or additional shooting or whatever, I’d be happy to do it.”

What do you all make of JK Simmons’ words? Are you hoping he gets a bigger role in Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
