John Boyega On ‘Most Complex’ ‘Star Wars’ Language

John Boyega shared a photo to his Instagram. Boyega stands in front of framed fan art sent to him by Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson. The art was of Boyega as Finn and the art itself says: “Bio-Hexacrypt,” with the actor giving a frustrated and perplexed expression in the framed picture. Boyega says that this speaks to the “frustration” he has with some of the Star Wars dialogue. The font is in Star Wars font and Boyega looks befuddled while pointing at his own picture. And to be fair, “bio-hexacrypt” sounds like an annoying word to say.

A gift from @riancjohnson expressing my frustration with the most complex Star Wars lingo. You’ll find out more later !

You can check out John Boyega’s Instagram post below.

It’s unclear what “bio-hexacrypt” means, since it’s a new word within the Star Wars universe, but we’re sure to find out what it means when Episode VIII comes out later this year.

Directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran and Benicio del Toro.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will open in theaters on December 15, 2017.
