More photos and a video from the New York set of John Wick: Chapter 3 have surfaced, revealing the bloodied and worn titular assassin running through a rainy street set, most likely making his escape from New York now that he is officially excommunicado from The Continental with a contract on his head.
The photos don’t give too much away, considering the premise of the third installment was clearly set up at the end of John Wick: Chapter 2. It’s clear from the photos and the video that someone is chasing after the experienced assassin.

John Wick co-director Chad Stahelski who returned to helm the sequel solo is also directing the third film as well. John Wick: Chapter 2 screenwriter David Kolstad has written the script. Here’s the official synopsis:
“John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “Excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.”
John Wick: Chapter 3 is currently slated to hit theaters on May 17, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the future of the John Wick franchise as we learn it.
