A director has yet to be attached but it’s possible Boone could also direct according to the trade.

King’s 1984 fantasy novel is the legendary authors 19th published book and was co-written by American novelist Peter Straub. The Talisman follows a boy who enters a parallel world in search of a powerful crystal known as the Talisman in hopes to save his mother who is dying from cancer.

Boone recently wrapped production on the X-Men spin-off film New Mutants which stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Henry Zaga, Charlie Heaton, Blu Hunt, and Alice Braga. The film is currently slated to hit theaters on April 13, 2018.
