Julian Dennison Is Not Allowed To Watch ‘Deadpool 2’

Deadpool 2In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Julian Dennison, the young actor who plays Firefist in Deadpool 2, revealed that he wasn’t even allowed to watch the movie he starred in.

Dennison, being only 15-years-old, wasn’t able to watch Deadpool 2 in his homeland of New Zealand. There, the film was rated R-16, which is their equivalent of the MPAA’s R-rating. Dennison even arranged a screening himself and still wasn’t able to see it:

“We got a cinema and they’re like, ‘Oh, yeah. You can introduce the movie. You can do everything, but you’re not allowed to watch it, and a few of my mates got kicked out of the cinema as well.”

Seeing as how Dennison gave such a memorable performance in the Deadpool sequel, it’s an absolute shame he wasn’t able to see the film. Still, Dennison seems to be a good sport about the whole situation. At least if the actor makes a return in X-Force, he will then be old enough to see himself in the film.

So, what do you think? Do you want Dennison to return for a sequel? Let us know down in the comments!

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Directed by David Leitch, the film stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers/Cable, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapcic as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al,  and Karan Soni as Dopinder. Julian Dennison, Jack Kesy and Shioli Kutsuna join the cast in undisclosed roles.
