Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will need to prove that lightning can strike twice at the box office for the previously-dormant dinosaur franchise, and it’s looking like the movie’s marketing campaign is going to focus on one dino in particular: Blue, Owen’s pet Velociraptor that teamed up with a Tyrannosaurus Rex to take down the hybrid dinosaur known as the Indominus Rex. There’s also an interesting allusion to the movie’s plot in the background…
The packaging art itself is fairly minimalist, with the focus being primarily on the logo and Blue:

Note the background, however — given that the first half of the movie involves evacuating dinosaurs from the island, which is about to be destroyed by a volcano, it’s only appropriate that an erupting geyser of lava serves as the background to the merchandise.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens on June 22, 2018. Its cast includes Chris Pratt as Owen Grady, Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing, Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm, B. D. Wong as Dr. Henry Wu, and James Cromwell as Benjamin Lockwood. Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, and Geraldine Chaplin have all been cast in unspecified roles.
