5 Elements From The Comics We Hope To See In ‘Dark Universe’

1. The House of Mystery

The House of Mystery was an interesting addition to DC Comics’ supernatural side of the New 52 relaunch in 2011. A mysterious phenomenon existing within different planes of existence, full of weird magic and seemingly sentient, it made it’s introduction to Justice League Dark as a part of Constantine’s world. The chain-smoking master of the dark arts apparently won possession of the house in a game of cards, in typical John Constantine fashion. The house played a key role in a number of instances throughout early storylines and was always fun to see. An ethereal house that changes its appearance and contents at will? That’s just made for some movie magic.

I actually agree with everything written here.

All we need to see in the next dceu movie is a daring extreme effort to be less coma-inducing by way of being more entertaining.

Everything sounds great here. I don’t think DC will use Tim Hunter, for fear of comparison to Harry Potter.

Trinity War would be a great story to adapt into an overarching storyline for the DCEU, and really put magic on the map in these films. Throw in Shazam into the mix, the Amazons, the Atlanteans, and you’ve got a mega story.

This is a story that could out in the back drop of the New Gods story, as well as the Blackest Night saga for the GL franshise, and you’ll have an Extended Universe like none other.

Yes please! I would love to see Trinity War

I cannot wait for magic and horror to get introduced into the DCEU. As a lifelong DC fan I can’t believe a frickin’ JL Dark movie is getting made.
