‘Justice League Dark’ & ‘Teen Titans: The Judas Contact’ Animated Feature Confirmed

Justice League Dark is getting the DC animated treatment. At San Diego Comic-Con Gary Miereanu announced three new DC Comics animated films, one of which was Justice League Dark, the other two included, Teen Titans: The Judas Contact and Batman and Harley Quinn: A Bruce Timm Original.

Teen Titans will be released next spring and Batman and Harley Quinn will debut next summer.

This news broke before the premiere of Batman: The Killing Joke. The Killing Joke will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD August 2. Are you looking forward to seeing The Killing Joke? What do you think of these animated movies being announced?

Based on the acclaimed DC graphic novel of the same name, Batman: The Killing Joke takes a journey into the dark psyche of the Clown Prince of Crime – from his humble beginnings as a struggling comedian to his fateful encounter with Batman that changes both of their lives forever. Years later, and now escaped from Arkham Asylum, The Joker devises a plan to prove that one bad day can make anyone as insane as he is – setting his sights on Commissioner Gordon. It’s up to the Dark Knight to put a stop to The Joker’s latest scheme and save one of Gotham City’s finest. Following a gripping prologue introducing Barbara Gordon’s heroic adventures alongside Batman as Batgirl, Batman: The Killing Joke stays true to the authentic tale that has held fans’ imaginations for nearly three decades – spotlighting the birth of a Super-Villain, the fortitude of a Super Hero and the punchline that will leave you speechless.

The only thing DC excels at…Now if only dceu would hire Berlanti to steer their rudderless ship, then mayhap they would be worthy to wear big sister’s (MARVEL’S) clothes on Career Day (SDCC).

Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim already made a DC Film and it’s called ‘Green Lantern’. They were later kicked to CW because of the Mega FLop the movie was.
Yes Arrow Season 1 and 2 was great but then it’s became worst.

…and they were also hampered by the WB suits. The proof is how superior in tone and execution the Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow are in comparison to the dreck produced by dceu.

To be honest, I’d be way more enthusiastic about a Swamp Thing + Constantine combo before getting in the rest of the Scooby squad in a movie.
