‘Justice League’: Julian Lewis Jones Reveals Secret Role

justice league-julian lewis jonesActor Julian Lewis Jones was cast in Justice League last summer in a role that was kept a secret. That is, until today.

Jones had been holding his role very close to the vest, but Zack Snyder posted a photo that featured Jones’ character in the background. Jones then posted a zoomed-in version of that photo on Instagram, revealing the identity of his character.

He will be playing Atlantean royalty, wearing a similar costume that Aquaman wears, and wielding a trident. It is possible that this could be from a flashback, where the Atlanteans worked with the Amazons to battle the parademons.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder with post-production duties handled by Joss Whedon. The film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg.

Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
