Zack Snyder has become known for working with cinematographer Larry Fong, the two most recently worked together on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It has been announced that Fong will not be returning for the upcoming Justice League: Part One.
Replacing Fong will be Fabian Wagner. Wagner is known for his work on the popular HBO series Game of Thrones and Da Vinci’s Demons.
While promoting Batman v Superman, Snyder opened up about moving forward with the DC Extended Universe and how assembling this group of superheroes was unique because Batman will be behind bringing the team together.
“I’m getting ready to start ‘Justice League’ on the 11th of April, so in like two weeks we start shooting,” Synder told Yahoo Movies, “and it’s an intense, awesome, and gigantic undertaking because Bruce [Wayne] is having to go out and sort of ‘Seven Samurai’ the Justice League together, which is fun. It’s slightly monumental, and at the same time they’re starting to grapple with this coming threat.”
Justice League: Part One will be directed by Zack Snyder and Chris Terrio is writing the script. The film is set to be released on November 17, 2017.
