‘Justice League’ Fan Re-Cuts Superman’s Rebirth Scene

Avengers Infinity War Marvel Justice LeagueA talented DC fan has edited Superman’s rebirth scene from Justice League in efforts to improve the theatrical cut’s version.

Not a day goes by that a DC fan doesn’t mourn the theatrical release of Justice League. The Warner Bros picture, which technically qualified as a success thanks to making over double its production budget on the box office, received a lukewarm reaction from theater audiences, but an audible groan from comic book fans. The story behind director Zack Snyder’s exit and the alleged existence of a Snyder Cut then made it’s way through the Internet, and therein lied the creation behind the cult following behind the lackluster DC films franchise.

Multiple edits and theories have been developed since Justice League hit theaters and, truth is, not all of them are all that bad. Here, a fan has edited the Justice League scene where the League brings Superman back to life which, of course, does not go as planned. The scene’s color grading is warmed up, while the tribal soundtrack increases the tension of the scene. All in all, the scene is nicely done, albeit not too different from the original.

Batwoman DC ComicsIt was just revealed that Batwoman herself will make an appearance in the next major Arrow crossover. After including characters like The Flash and Supergirl, Kate Kane herself is swinging into the Arrowverse. The character has been featured in animated DC projects, but she has never appeared in live-action before.

A talented actress is needed to bring such a strong character to life. Batwoman is just as fierce a fighter as her cousin Batman and she has a unique view on the world. An ex-soldier who was raised by her obsessive father, Kate Kane picked up the Batwoman mantle separate from her cousin’s decision to fight crime in Gotham. She has no problem putting herself in harm’s way to protect others and she’s also an intelligent tactician who will challenge Oliver Queen for the top slot in Arrow’s Justice League.

  • Larry J

Cutting the Hans Zimmer’s MoS score from the ship, putting in Whedon’s sequence in the middle with MoS’s ending making it confusing AF then adding Zimmer’s score where it doesn’t fit the scene, making the score that doesn’t fit go for too long and then adding Zimmer’s other MoS score that doesn’t fit the fight scene?
    No, I don’t like it,

  • This is still a terrible sequence. I feel like Im watching an animated series
