‘Justice League’: Wonder Woman Featured In New Promo Image

Wonder-Woman- Justice LeagueWonder Woman remains the only female member of the Justice League, but that doesn’t mean that the Justice League film is without other superpowered females. Mera, counterpart to Aquaman, is featured in the film and is making her film debut.

In new promo images for Justice League posted on Twitter, both Wonder Woman and Mera are featured side by side, showing off their awesome, elegant costumes. Check out the tweet below!

We’ve already seen the image of Mera before for toy box art, but that shot of Wonder Woman is brand new and looks badass. Gal Gadot isn’t lacking in determined poses, but her face here is one of unshakeable power and strength. Hopefully we actually get to see Wonder Woman and Mera in the same scene for Justice League.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen and J.K. Simmons. Here’s the official synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is in cinemas November 17.
