One of the added bonuses in Marvel’s The Defenders is that we are not only going to get to see the crossover series’ four heroes — Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist — come together and team up for the first time, but we are also going to see all of their supporting cast members meet and interact as well. Such is the case with this latest clip from the upcoming Marvel Netflix series.
The official Jessica Jones Twitter account released a new clip for The Defenders featuring Daredevil‘s Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Jessica Jones‘ Trish Walker (Rachel Taylor). The brief clip features Trish commiserating with Karen about being attacked, presumably by The Hand, and it ends with Karen assuring Trish that New York’s current predicament is indeed as bad as Patsy has been led to believe it is by her old friend Jessica.

Marvel’s The Defenders stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Scott Glenn as Stick, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Rachel Taylor as Trish Walker, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Simone Missick as Detective Misty Knight, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Elodie Yung as Elektra Natchios and Sigourney Weaver as the villanous Alexandra.
“Marvel’s The Defenders” follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.
Marvel’s The Defenders premieres on Netflix on August 18, 2017.
Marvel’s Netflix Heroes, Ranked From Worst To Best
Marvel has been using Netflix to great effect. Taking full advantage of the digital platform and the untethered storytelling it allows creators to offer, Marvel has been taking iconic comic book characters such as Daredevil and Iron Fist and showing them in a new light over the past few years on Netflix.
The studio’s efforts have taken the heroes (and sometimes even the anti-heroes) of the Netflix corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in different directions through 13-part adventures, diving more into what makes them tick than the films. For the most part, these characters have been well thought out and the actors inhibating the roles have done a great job making them their own.
Of course, The Defenders is the culmination of what Marvel has been working towards with these shows. Arriving later this month, the 8-episode series is set to unite Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist against a threat greater than anything they’ve faced before.
With the series only a few days away it is a great time to look at each of the Netflix heroes and see where they rank from worst to best. Click next to have a look!
