Katie Cassidy As Black Siren In ‘The Flash’ 2.22 Images & Trailer

The Flash 222

The Flash had a huge episode this week with Kevin Smith directing “The Runaway Dinosaur” as we now are just two episodes away from the end of the second season for the fastest man alive. The CW has released official promotional images for next week’s episode, the penultimate episode before the season two finale on May 24.

The episode is titled “Invincible” which will feature Arrow’s Katie Cassidy as the Earth-2 version of Dinah Laurel Lance who in that universe goes by the Black Siren as she is working for Zoom and is leading her own army of meta-humans! The network also released an extended trailer which features something that should make a lot of Black Canary fans out there very, very happy.

You can check out the trailer and synopsis below along with the official photo gallery by hitting the NEXT button – however beware of some big spoilers. You have officially been warned.

“KATIE CASSIDY GUEST STARS AS BLACK SIREN – After Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) unleashes an army of Earth-2 meta-humans on Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) is shaken when he sees their leader is the Black Canary’s Earth-2 doppelganger, the Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy). Meanwhile, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) takes to the streets to help The Flash stop the meta-humans, which worries Joe (Jesse L. Martin). Iris (Candice Patton) and Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipp) are concerned about Barry taking on Zoom. Jesse Warn directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Brooke Roberts & David Kob (FL222). Original airdate 5/17/2016.”

People got so mad at me when I revealed she was dead on Earth-1 in a forum I frequent. I tagged it with spoiler tags and they still got mad that they’re too stupid to understand what that means. Hopefully this is the last we see of her as her performance has been one of the weakest in the Arrowverse.

Ahh so she’s a bad guy. Happy to see that she has super powers.

Yeah, being a meta from Earth-2 apparently makes you evil. I don’t think we’ve seen any who were heroic.
