New artwork imagines John Wick star Keanu Reeves as Wolverine, replacing Hugh Jackman as the clawed hero for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
With Hugh Jackman now retired from the role of Wolverine after nearly two decades of portraying the X-Men icon, fans are already proposing potential actors to succeed him as the character for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige already confirming that he has met with Keanu Reeves about potential roles in the past, many believe that the John Wick star would be the ideal actor to replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
A digital artist who goes by “The Main Man Creation” on Instagram created a piece of fan art that showcases what Keanu Reeves could look like if he takes over the role of Wolverine from Hugh Jackman. In the fan-made image, Keanu Reeves can be seen riding a motorcycle while sporting Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine look from 20th Century Fox’s X-Men movies.
