In the world of nerds, Kevin Smith is no stranger. He is quite possibly the most famous comic book geek in the world, and his love for comic books and superheroes (coupled with his ability to write and direct films) is probably the root cause of his fame.
As many of you may already know, DC and The CW have got Kevin Smith to host tonights DC film event on the CW, aptly named DC Films Present: Dawn of the Justice League alongside DC Comics’ very own comic legend Geoff Johns.
So what should fans be expecting to see tonight? Well on the latest episode of Kevin Smith’s extremely popular podcast, Fat Man on Batman, he addressed his excitement and talked specifically about what exactly we’ll be seeing on tonight’s special.
“They show footage, new footage of Batman v Superman, they show footage from the Wonder Woman movie that they’re shooting right now, which includes shots of Wonder Woman in action doing some shit you’ve never seen before. Then the whole f**king thing wraps up with the debut of the Suicide Squad trailer.”
And if that alone doesnt get you excited for DC’s film slate, Kevin Smith drops a bomb about Suicide Squad that may not actually be surprising to many:
“I think this is their Guardians of the Galaxy. It’s going to be a sneak f**king stealth hit.”
