This is exciting news, even if the film doesn’t officially have a synopsis yet. We know Taron Egerton will be back playing Eggsy and that the new cast will include Halle Berry, Sir Elton John, Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum, and Julianne Moore.
Matthew Vaughn will be back to direct the sequel and there’s word that somehow, even though he died in the first film, Colin Firth will be back to reprise his role as well. The film’s plot will follow Eggsy and Merlin, played by Mark Strong, as they join forces with other agents from the United States.
As the film draws closer to release, we anticipate an official trailer, plot details, and who the new actors will be playing in the film. Until then, not much information is known about the sequel. Kingsman: The Secret Service was released back in March of 2014 and was a surprise hit, a spy film that poked fun at spy films.
Keep checking back with Heroic Hollywood for more information about the film.
