‘Kong: Skull Island’ Teaser Features Kong In Action

The new trailer for Kong: Skull Island is almost upon us and and the official twitter account for the upcoming film is continuing to count down the days until the trailer is released. The latest teasers not only offer hints that Kong may not have always inhabited Skull Island alone, but they also offer a glimpse of the King of the Apes in action.

Check out both teasers below!

The second teaser is not as exciting as the latter, though the prescience of large ape-like skeletons does suggest that at one point Kong shared the island with other mammoth creatures like himself.

On the other hand, the first teaser offers a look at Kong in action as he rips apart a helicopter in a fit of rage.

Fans can expect to see an greater look at these moments when new footage makes its debut in the trailer.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Kong: Skull Island” reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific—as beautiful as it is treacherous—unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.

Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, Kong: Skull Island stars Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Toby Kebbell, Tom Wilkinson and John C Reilly.

Kong: Skull Island will be released in theaters on March 10,2017.
