Audiences have seen King Kong on the big screen before but the upcoming Kong: Skull Island is looking to have the largest King Kong ever seen on screen.
Warner Bros. made a presentation during CineEurope and showed off a number of their upcoming major blockbuster films including; Legend of Tarzan, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Kong.
Kong: Skull Island is being directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and Roberts spoke out about how this film will be larger than life and entertaining.
“This is going to be the biggest Kong there’s ever been. Not 10 foot or 30 foot, but a 100-foot ape.”
New plot details have also surfaced regarding the film.
“The story is about a man (Hiddleston) who travels to the mythical island after his brother is stranded there trying to retrieve the mythical serum Titan which is believed to be the cure for all illnesses and diseases. The man must lead a rescue team to save his brother while confronting the creatures that inhabit the island.”
Skull Island will star Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman and John C. Reilly.
Kong: Skull Island will debut in theaters on March 10th, 2017.
