Krypton Star Meets Former Superman Brandon Routh At San Diego Comic-Con

krypton-superman-brandon-routhKrypton star Cameron Cuffe shares a San Diego Comic-Con photo with former Superman, and current Legends of Tomorrow star, Brandon Routh.

One of the best parts about San Diego Comic-Con is the presence of A-list celebrities and geek legends walking in the midst of regular comic book fans and nerds. What’s especially cool is remembering that even the stars of some of our favorite shows are nerds themselves, as Krypton star Cameron Cuffe was excited to share a picture with Superman a.k.a Brandon Routh.

Routh is a bit of an understated nerd legend. Initially cast in the title role for Superman Returns, he also played one of Ramona Flowers’ evil exes in comic book film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Nowadays, he plays Ray Palmer, the Atom, in Arrowverse show Legends of Tomorrow.

Here is the synopsis for Krypton:

KRYPTON is set two generations before the destruction of Superman’s home planet. The series follows Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), the legendary Man of Steel’s grandfather, as a young man who is faced with a life and death conflict – save his home planet or let it be destroyed to restore the fate of his future grandson. In Season 1, with Krypton’s leadership in disarray and the House of El ostracized, Seg found himself in a difficult position: redeem his family’s honor and protect the ones he loves, while being challenged by familiar DC characters Brainiac and Earthly time-traveler Adam Strange.

Krypton season 2 is expected to premiere in 2019.
