‘Star Wars’: Lando Introduces Han To The Millennium Falcon In New ‘Solo’ TV Spot

SOLO Star WarsA new TV spot for Solo: A Star Wars Story teases a major moment from the upcoming Han Solo origin film.

Alden Ehrenreich stars in the film as the young Han Solo. Plot details are still rather scarce, however, the film is known to follow the young smuggler as he participates in a train heist to prove himself as a criminal. The film will also feature Han as he acquires the Millennium Falcon, which is owned by Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover). The character has already been seen seeing the Falcon’s exterior and interior for the first time in previous trailers, however, the latest TV spot reveals Lando’s dialogue as he actually introduces Han to the Correlian freighter he’ll make famous.

Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich as the young Han Solo along with Joonas Suotomo as Chewbacca and Donald Glover as the young Lando Calrissian. The cast also includes Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Paul Bettany, and Ian Kenny. Here’s the official synopsis:

Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25, 2018.

Solo A Star Wars StorySolo: A Star Wars Story is set to hit theaters later this year and will certainly be a departure for the franchise. Similar to Rogue One: A Star Wars StorySolo is going to be a prequel on the adventures of the smuggler originally played by Harrison Ford. Han Solo is one of the most memorable and iconic characters in the franchise whose origins we have yet to see fleshed out beyond knowing he is a smuggler. There’s a lot of fascinating potential here.

This is a film that seemingly isn’t that important for the franchise, but it easily could be. It could do a lot of things for the Star Wars canon and there is a lot to look forward to in this one. While it’s not inherently the most anticipated film in the franchise there are still a lot of things that will be exciting to see unfold on the big screen.
