The world of Harry Potter is finally back on the big screen as Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them has recently opened in theaters. It was recently revealed that we will be seeing a younger version of the Hogwars Headmaster, Albus Dumbleore in the upcoming sequel that is part of this new five-part franchise.
As the search for a young Dumbldore is underway, one actor that has expressed interest in playing him, is Legends of Tomorrow’s very own Rip Hunter, Arthur Darvill as he said in a recent interview with Digital Spy. Here is what Darvill said about the possibility.
“Absolutely, [I’m up for it]. D’you know what? I’ve made this pact with myself that when I hit a certain age, I’m only going to play wizards. I want to be that guy. So whether it’s 10 years down the line or… when I can grow a salt and pepper beard, I would be totally happy just playing wizards for the rest of my life. But yeah, if they came knocking saying, ‘We really want you to play the young Dumbledore’, I’d definitely consider it!”
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is now out in theaters.
