Page 1-‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Review: ‘Fellowship Of The Spear’

It’s an exciting week for Legends of Tomorrow as tonight’s episode, entitled “Fellowship of the Spear,” not only marks the long-overdue return of Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), but also sees the team meeting the one and only J.R.R. Tolkien, author of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

When the Legends manage to get their hands on the final pieces of the Spear of Destiny, they set about trying to figure out how to destroy it. In order to do that, they must turn to an extremely unlikely source: J.R.R. Tolkien (played by Jack Turner).

Meanwhile, while the team is occupied with Tolkien, Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher) send in their big gun, Leonard Snart, to manipulate Mick (Dominic Purcell) into leading them right to the spear before the Legends can destroy it.
