A few months ago it was revealed that The Flash and Supergirl would once again be crossing over onto each others shows, this time in a musical event. Having a musical episode for each series was not a surprise to some fans who know that a handful of cast members from each show are musically gifted, with leads Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist having both made several appearances on Glee. Will stars from the other two CW superhero shows drop by to lend their vocal support? Speaking to Comicbook.com, executive producer Greg Berlanti hinted that one star from Legends of Tomorrow could be making an appearance in the musical crossover.
When asked if he would recruit Victor Garber, who plays Professor Martin Stein/Firestome on Legends of Tomorrow, to lend his musical experience to the crossover event, Berlanti played coy.
“Oh, I’d be crazy not to,” Berlanti said. “He’s got one of the best voices. He actually sang for me at an event once, and if I ever get married, I’d have him sing at the wedding.”
While hardly a confirmation, it certainly appears that Berlanti at least wants Garber to participate in the musical event. However, with scheduling and time conflicts, it is entirely possible that Berlanti may not get his wish.
Until then fans can expect to see Victor Garber’s Martin Stein finally meet Supergirl when all four CW superheroes unite for a four-part crossover event expected to air towards the end of 2017.
Supergirl airs on Monday at 8:00 pm ET on The CW.
