Luke Speaks In ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Footage Description

Star WarsWhile we are still several months away from the next installment in the Star Wars franchise, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, it appears certain members of the press have gotten some glimpses of the upcoming film. Daniel Miller, reporter for Los Angeles Time, shared on his Twitter page today a full description of new footage that was screened at the Disney annual shareholder meeting, which includes Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill, finally speaking.

Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, starring Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa, Daisy Ridley as Rey, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, John Boyega as Finn, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke, along with Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran, opens in theaters on Friday, December 15.

Star WarsThe Star Wars Universe is one of the greatest cinematic achievements of all time and the high quality of the recent films are not only proving how strong a franchise it is, but also continuing to gain legions of new fans every year. The series is fantastic and Disney’s films have brought it back in favor with both audiences and fans, but like any good franchise there are always ways in which a series can improve and as a huge fan I don’t think the series is at its full potential yet.
