‘Game Of Thrones’: Maisie Williams Teases Season 7 Finale Cliffhanger

Williams
With winter having finally arrived at the end of last season, the end of Game of Thrones is beginning to draw near. Recently star Maisie Williams discussed how she is starting to look beyond the series to expand her career now that the series coming to a close but Arya Stark still has two more seasons to fight her way through and plenty of people left on her kill list.

While promoting her new Netflix original film iBoy, Williams shared her excitement surrounding the end of the series as all the characters move into their endgame positions, telling Time Out:

“It’s just kind of tumbling now. We’ve come to the climax and it’s rolling down to the end. It’s exciting. I really felt like at the end of last season everything was set up for how it was going to end. Every character came to a little junction in their lives. Now we’re all going to crash down together to, however, this show ends.”

Williams went further to add that the season 7 finale will end with “A huge cliffhanger”.

What exactly could that cliffhanger be? With season 7 most likely to feature the battle for the seven kingdoms, it’s likely the eighth and final season will be the battle for the known world. Perhaps season 7 will close with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance as mankind comes face to face with the dead army for the climactic showdown.
