Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, tweeted praise for Solo: A Star Wars Story stating that he “can’t wait to see it again.”
You can check out his enthusaistic tweet down below:

The intentionally spoiler-free tweet comes after the premiere of the Ron Howard-helmed Star Wars spin-off. The reaction was one of many very positive reactions to the film. This may provide fans with a sense of relief, as the history of the film’s troubled production left both fans and the studio concerned with the end product.
Originally directed by Phil and Christopher Miller of 21 Jump Street fame, the duo was fired by Disney after complaints of their directing style. Ron Howard was then brought on to finish the film. The extensive reshoots appear to now make up 70% of the film, after which the Miller brothers declined the option to be recognized as co-directors. This granted Howard the sole credit for the film.
Hamill joins fellow Star Wars alum Billy Dee Williams in praising the film. Williams was very receptive to Donald Glover’s portrayal of Lando Calrissian, a character whom Williams originally portrayed in the original trilogy.

5 Reasons To Be Excited (And 5 Reasons To Worry) About ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’
It’s been roughly five months since The Last Jedi came out, which means it’s time for another Star Wars movie! The second anthology film that explores the Star Wars universe’s past, Solo follows a young Han Solo as he becomes a smuggler. Before he had the Millennium Falcon or considered Luke Skywalker one of his best friends, Han was still talking and blasting his away across the galaxy.
A new Star Wars film is typically a cause for celebration, but there’s something different about Solo. The posters and print material all look fun and stylized, but the actual trailer looks gray and unsatisfying. There are a lot of things propping this movie up, mainly that it is about Han Solo, arguably the most popular character in the entire franchise, but there are also a lot of things dragging it down. Hopefully Solo will kick butt, but without Harrison Ford at the center of the action, it’s hard to say!
