Mark Hamill To Return For ‘The Flash’ Season 2

If you were a fan of Mark Hamill’s return as The Trickster in the first season of The Flash, the following bit of news is sure to make you happy, as it has been confirmed that the Star Wars star will reprise his role as James Jesse in the sophomore season of the hit CW series. Comicbook.com confirmed his return today, but sadly what episode(s) the actor will appear on is currently unknown.

Earlier today, a photo from the set of the show was posted on Reddit, featuring Mark Hamill and a crew member on the prison where we first met the character in the seventeenth episode of the first season, which was titled “Tricksters”, and saw Jesse working with a copycat killer, who was later revealed to be his son, in order to kidnap Barry’s father from Iron Heights.

Hamill originally played the character in two episodes of CBS’s The Flash series back in 1990, which starred Jon Wesley Shipp (who currently plays Henry Allen on the CW series) as the Fastest Man Alive.
