Film Adaptation Of Mark Millar’s ‘Superior’ Lands Writing Duo

After picking up the property in 2014, 20th Century Fox is now moving forward with a film adaptation of Mark Millar & Leinel Francis Yu’s Superior. Variety is reporting that Fox has brought on the writing duo of Brandon and Phillip Murphy to adapt the comic book series. Millar has had a number of hit adaptations of his work hit the screens over the last few years which include Wanted, Kick-Ass and last year’s Kingsman: The Secret Service.

Superior, which will be produced by Tarquin Pack and Matthew Vaughn, focuses on an athletic 12-year-old boy named Simon Pooni who is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The boy is granted one wish from a talking alien monkey, which allows him to become Superior, his favorite superhero. However, there’s a major twist to this story that we won’t spoil for you here. Are you looking forward to seeing Superior hit the big screen? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
