Marvel Bringing ‘Damage Control’ TV Series To ABC

Marvel Studios & ABC are teaming up for another television series. But this one is a little different. The network has bought the script for a 30-minute, single-camera sitcom that will follow the clean-up crew of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sound familiar? Yes, the network has committed to pilot commitment for a comedy series based on a comic book that originally debuted in 1989, Damage Control.

The series is described as the following:

Marvel’s Damage Control centers on the overworked and underpaid clean up crew of the Marvel Universe. Their specialty is dealing with the aftermath of the unique fallout from superhero conflicts, like returning lost ray guns to their rightful owners, rescheduling a wedding venue after it has been vaporized in a battle or even tracking down a missing prize African parrot that’s been turned to stone or goo. Sometimes the most important heroes are the ones behind the scenes.

The series was developed by Ben Karlin who will executive produce with David Miner and Marvel’s head of television Jeph Loeb. If picked up, the series will join Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter on the network. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
