Marvel TV will have a big presence at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con where they will bring The Defenders, The Punisher, The Inhumans and more to popular convention. To celebrate that, Entertainment Weekly revealed today two new posters for The Defenders and The Punisher which will be given out their respective signings at the Marvel Booth (#2329).
The Defenders poster was drawn by Marvel TV Creative Director Joshua James Shaw, with the signing for that show set to happen on Saturday, July 22 at 10:00 AM PST. You can check out the new poster below.
“Marvel’s The Defenders” follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.”
Then we also have The Punisher poster which was drawn by Marvel Entertainment CCO Joe Quesada. That poster will be given out on Friday, July 21 at 3:30 PM PST at the Marvel Booth.

Marvel and Netflix’s The Defenders, starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Élodie Yung as Elektra Natchios and Sigourney Weaver as Alexandra, is set to come out with its first season on August 18.
The series will also feature the return of Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Scott Glenn as Stick, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing.
Marvel’s The Punisher, starring Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead) as Frank Castle, Ben Barnes (The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian) as Billy Russo, Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Girls) as Micro, Jason R. Moore (A Lonely Place for Dying) as Curtis Hoyle, Daniel Webber (11.22.63)as Lewis Walcott, Paul Schulze (Nurse Jackie) as Rawlins, Jaime Ray Newman (Bates Motel) as Sarah Lieberman, Michael Nathanson (The Knick) as Sam Stein, and Deborah Ann Woll (Daredevil) as Karen Page, is set to come out on Netflix towards the end of the year.

New Comic Book Shows That Are Coming In 2017-2018
The current TV season is pretty much done as several comic book and superhero TV shows have concluded their respective seasons. All the comic book shows that aired this year will be back for the new TV season with The CW’s The Flash, Supergirl, Riverdale, iZombie, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, with ABC bringing Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. back for another season and FOX giving Gotham and Lucifer another go.
FX is also bringing back their new comic book TV hit series with Legion while AMC is bringing back The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead for new seasons, along with their new Vertigo hit Preacher. While the comic book TV landscape is already epic in scope, it’s only going to get bigger next year. The 2017-2018 television season is going to be one of the biggest seasons of all time for comic book adaptations for both DC and Marvel.
