‘Marvel’s The Inhumans’ Gets Official ABC 2017 Premiere Date

A few weeks ago, ABC and Marvel Television, along with IMAX, announced that The Inhumans would be coming to ABC as one of the new series in the 2017-2018 TV season. The first two episodes will be screened in IMAX theaters starting on September 1 for a two-week run. However, we now have an official premiere date for the show when it comes to ABC. The Hollywood Reporter revealed this week that The Inhumans will premiere on Tuesday, September 26 on ABC, although with no set timeslot just yet.

Given that we are still in the 2016-2017 TV season and far away from the Upfronts, which is when networks reveal their new TV schedules for the next season, we will probably not know what time it will air on. According to THR, the show will air over the course of eight weeks without any interruptions. Could The Inhumans and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (should it be renewed for Season 5) perhaps be paired up for a big Marvel TV block next fall?

“The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. “Marvel’s The Inhumans” will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.”
