Stan Lee is more than a household name. He is considered a demi-god among the fan community. As the father of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee, along with the late Jack Kirby, created the very DNA of what is now the Marvel Universe. Everyone from the X-Men to Daredevil has Stan Lee’s name signed to them, and because of his unparalleled contribution to comic books and Marvel itself, he is the only person to appear in almost every Marvel movie adaptation regardless of the studio behind the property. His cameos in the movies under the Marvel Cinematic Universe are such a treat for fans that Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 even lent credence to the fan theory that Stan Lee is a watcher in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
As the Marvel Cinematic Universe celebrates its tenth anniversary this year and his contributions to the world of comic book and pop culture continue to permeate the mainstream consciousness, Stan Lee is under the spotlight more often and today he took to Instagram to remind everyone just how important he is to Marvel and comic books with a humorous post congratulating Marvel Studios on its one decade milestone.
You can check out the post below.
In the caption, Lee says: “Congratulations @marvelstudios on your 10 year anniversary! I’ve been in the business for 77 years – only 67 more to go and you’ll catch up to me!“
This not only serves as a hilarious reminder to everyone on how long Stan Lee has been in the business, but also to remind us that almost every actor in that photo is playing a character that Lee had either a direct or indirect hand in creating.

Official LEGO Images Reveal ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Details
Avengers: Infinity War is the apex of everything that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building towards since the release of the first Avengers movie. In the post credits for that film, we were teased with the appearance of Thanos, the Mad Titan. Every movie in the MCU since then has been geared towards the presence of the Infinity Stones that power the Infinity Gauntlet, the ultimate weapon that Thanos has his sights set on. In less than three months, we will finally the threat that Thanos presents to earth’s mightiest heroes, and if the trailer is anything to go by, they have never faced a threat like him before.
The other exciting prospect that has kicked the hype for Avengers: Infinity War to fever pitch is the merging of the Marvel cosmic-verse, which is the corner of the MCU that the Guardians Of The Galaxy inhabit, with the world of the Avengers. While little is known about the film except for what we’ve seen in the trailer and the Super Bowl spot, LEGO has released official photos of sets from the upcoming film that hint at possible plot elements and give us a better look at characters that were not highlighted before.
The sets offer us a better look at Thanos’ The Black Order, comprised of Corvus Glaive, Cull Obsidian, Proxima Midnight and Ebony Maw. One of the sets hints that Rocket and Groot will help Thor forge a new weapon, another one shows a large battle at Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Santorum and shows Spider-Man with an upgraded suit, likely the Iron Spider, with extra arms. The sets also confirm the Hulkbuster’s return to the franchise and hint that Thanos may have his signature helmet in the movie, which was absent during the promotional materials so far.
You can check out the first image below and the rest in the gallery.
While LEGO and other tie-in merchandise have been known to take liberties in the presentation for the purposes of selling the merchandise itself, these sets will likely provide lots of fuel for fans to speculate about the plot of the upcoming film as we wait anxiously for more footage and information from Marvel and directors Joe and Anthony Russo.
How much of the plot do you think the LEGO sets have revealed? Are you excited for the next trailer for Avengers: Infinity War? Let us know below!
