With just over a month until the film hits theaters, Marvel Studios has released a brand new behind-the-scenes look at Thor: Ragnarok.
The promo features Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and director Taika Waititi as they discuss the God of Thunder’s next cinematic solo outing, which the latter describes as “sort of a new cycle in the life of the world — all the realms, the universe. It’s the destruction of the old and rebirth of the new.”
While most of what’s mentioned in the video has been known for a while now, Marvel did include a few never-before-seen shots from the highly anticipated film along with a few fun behind-the-scenes moments.
You can watch the video below.
The film also stars Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge, Clancy Brown as Surtur, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange and Sam Neill in an undisclosed role. Here’s the synopsis:
In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok“, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladictorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!
Thor: Ragnarok opens on November 3, 2017.
