Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite will once again unite heroes from two separate universes and pit them against one another. A new gameplay trailer showing how that will play out has just been unveiled.
In this trailer, we see Marvel’s Hulk, Hawkeye, Thor, and Ultron battle alongside – and against – Capcom’s Chris Redfield, Chun-Li, Strider Hiryu. Sigma will also be joining the Capcom side as a pre-order bonus, but gameplay of the character was not shown. Other characters confirmed for the game are Captain America, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, and Rocket Raccoon for the Marvel side, and Mega Man X, Morrigan Aensland, and Ryu for the Capcom side.

The world of video games is no stranger to superheroes. There have been superhero games almost as long as there have been video games. They have had varying levels of quality and recently DC has been extremely successful with the Batman Arkham series as well as Injustice, but Marvel hasn’t had a game recently that has reached that level of success. Last week, Square Enix announced a new Avengers game that has the potential to be an original and fascinating new game, but there are still several games we would love to see tackled and some characters we would love to control in a new interactive environment on the newest console generation.
