Marvels The Inhumans Production DateLast fall, it was announced that Marvel TV and ABC had officially ordered The Inhumans to series for the 2017-2018 TV season as the Royal Family comes to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Scott Buck, who is the showrunner for another Marvel TV property, Iron Fist, has been tapped to run the Inhumans for ABC which was reported last month. The two first episodes will be filmed in IMAX as part of the collaboration with Marvel and ABC.

Season-Zero (via Production Weekly) is reporting that the upcoming Marvel series is supposedly starting production in March and that filming will take place in Los Angeles as well as Chicago. Should this report be true, then we should be getting casting information very soon on who will be playing Black Bolt as well as the other Royal Family members.

“The Inhumans, a race of superhumans with diverse and singularly unique powers, were first introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. Since that time, they have grown in prominence and become some of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel Universe. “Marvel’s The Inhumans” will explore the never-before-told epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family.”

Marvel’s The Inhumans is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 26 on ABC – no official timeslot has been given yet. The two first episodes will be available in theaters on September 4.
