’Marvel’s Most Wanted’ Given A Pilot Order By ABC (Again)

Despite getting having already gotten a pilot order last fall, ABC president Paul Lee confirmed today at the ongoing TCA Winter Press Tour that they are giving Marvel’s Most Wanted a pilot order which will be a spin-off from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The characters that will be featured on the show are Bobbi Morse a.k.a. Mockingbird (Adrianne Palicki) and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood).

While Lee didn’t reveal much about the project, but he did give high praise to the spin-off and shared his excitement for it.

“We’re absolutely doing that one. I just announced that we’re going to pilot on Marvel’s Most Wanted, which is a spinoff. We love the script. We think it’s going to be great. We’re doing that in the next few months.”

The pilot, which was initially not picked up back in May 2015, was written by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. show-runner Jeffrey Bell and one of the show writers, Paul Zbyszewski. Both of them will be executive producers as well as show-runners for the show, along with Marvel TV president Jeph Loeb.

No plot details were revealed as well as whether or not the spin-off will be setup sometime in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3B which will be kicking off in March. The project does only have a pilot order as of right now, not a series order and it will most likely be revealed in May at the Upfronts whether or not it will go to series.
