Early reactions for Runaways have been pretty positive so far. With Marvel’s television slate exploring numerous distribution models such as through ABC (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter and Inhumans), Netflix (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher), Freeform (New Warriors and Cloak and Dagger) and now Hulu, the MCU continues to expand to tell more obscure stories for fans who are unfamiliar to many of these comic properties.
