The last decade has been rough for the He-Man and The Master’s Of The Universe live-action adaptation. With the film constantly being left in limbo, it seems Sony may finally moving the film forward.
Deadline is reporting that McG (Terminator Salvation, This Means War) is in talks to direct the film for Sony. The story revolves around Prince Adam, who transforms into the great warrior He-Man, and becomes the last hope for a magical world of Eternia that has been ravaged by the sinister Skeletor.
Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch are currently producing the film, with DeVon Franklin. The Last script was done by the writing team of Alex Litvak and Mike Finch, but with McG coming on to oversee a new rewrite.
