Michael B. Jordan Would Be Open To Playing The Human Torch Again In Potential ‘Fantastic Four’ Sequel

Sure, Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four wasn’t the most well received comic book film of last year (a bit of an understatement) but there was definitely potential there and the flaws didn’t lie in it’s cast. While Fox may have removed the announced sequel from their slate, there still seems to be discussion about it happening according to some of the producers of the film and one of the cast members wouldn’t be against returning.

While speaking with IGN,  Michael B. Jordan commented on the film and how none of the cast and crew set out to make a bad film.

I think it was a big education for me to realize that things aren’t in your control, and you can do everything you’re supposed to do. You can give 110% every day, and the movie still not work out. But that may or may not be on you and you’ve got to be OK with that.

Given the opportunity to return and give the character another shot, would Jordan return for a sequel? The actor stated that Johnny Storm “is an incredible character. Why not?” While the final product definitely had it’s faults, there was potential in the film that could be fixed in a sequel with the right hands. Would you be open to a Fantastic Four sequel with the right director in the chair? Would you like to see Jordan reprise the role? Let us know in the comments below.
